dated July 14, 1954: Engineering selections

The list of candidates selected for admission to the two engineering colleges in Madras State was put up on the notice board of the Engineering College, Guindy, on July 12. Of the 182 candidates selected, 107 have been allotted to the Engineering College in Guindy and the remaining 75 to the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. Besides these, 18 more candidates, including two refugee students, two Ceylon Indians and 14 students from other States, will be admitted.
