S. India tournament from tomorrow

KOCHI, JULY13 . Nearly 350 players including a few internationals will take part in the Servo Fourth RSC `Play for Gold' South India Open badminton tournament to be held at the Rajiv Gandhi indoor stadium here from Thursday.

Competition will be held in under-10, under-13, under-16, under-19, men, women, masters and veteran categories respectively. George Thomas, Markose Bristow, V. Diju, Jaeel P. Ismail, Thomas Kurian, Sanave Thomas, Jaison Xavier, K.A. Anish, Rohan castelino, S.D.S. Krishna, Trupti Murgunde, Fatima Nazneen Mohammed and B.R. Meenakshi are some of the prominent players taking part in the three-day tournament.

More than 20 sovereigns of gold will be given be given as prizes. The finals of the tournament will be played on Sunday.
