MOSCOW, JULY 13. Russia has no plans to supply T-90S tanks or any other weapons to Pakistan, as falsely reported at the weekend, a Government arms exporter said. The press service of Rosoboronexport, Russia's state-owned arms export monopoly, denied media reports that a contract for the supply of T-90S Main Battle Tanks to Pakistan had been signed on the sidelines of `UralArmsExpo' fair in Nizhny Tagil in the Urals. ``We unequivocally reject the very idea of any such contracts between Russian defence industries and Pakistani authorities,'' a Rosoboronexport spokesman told The Hindu . ``As a matter of fact, Russia has no military-technical cooperation with Pakistan and Rosoboronexport strictly abides by this clear-cut policy of the Russian leadership.'' Rosoboronexport controls 95 per cent of Russian defence exports, including all supplies of tanks.
