MYSORE, JULY 13. Raichur zone helped by some good medium-pace bowling by Imran Khan (five for 63), skittled out Mysore Zone for 159 in 65.5 overs and gained the vital first-innings lead of 11 runs and in their second essay at close of play had scored 119 for seven in 35 overs in their drawn Group `B' match in the KSCA Inter-zonal U-17 cricket played at the Gangotri grounds here on Tuesday. In the other Group `B' tie at PET grounds, Mandya, Bangalore City XI and Tumkur zone secured two points each in their dawn encounter.
At Mysore:
Raichur 170 in 48.2 overs and 119 for seven in 35 overs ( Alok Deshpande 46, M.R. Darshan four for 38) drew with Mysore Zone 159 in 65.5 overs ( Karthik Raghavan 44, Aditya B Sagar 32, Imran Khan five for 63, Vijaykumar three for 22). Raichur: Five points; Mysore:Two points.
At Mandya:
Bangalore City XI 113 in 50 overs ( Manish R Alse 41, D.V. Avinash 29, Md. Faheem four for 29) drew with Tumkur Zone 101 for nine in 43 overs ( Vivek Shankar 28, Arjun Shetty five for 12, Dilip Sagar three for 53). Bangalore City XI: Two points; Tumkur Zone: Two points.
At Bangalore:
Shimoga Zone 299 for five in 90 overs (D. Raghavendra 94, Ajith Shenoy 91, Anvith Medappa 50, H. Vinay 34, Nandish Sikke Desai three for 55) drew with Dharwad Zone (rain played spoilsport).
Mangalore Zone 136 in 70.5 overs (Farhan Fazal 50, K.P. Appanna four for 26, A.G. Deepak four for 41) drew with Bangalore Zone 118 for six in 18 overs (Kunal Kapoor 40, Ganesh Sathish 27, K. Naveen three for 21).
