NEW DELHI, JULY 13. The Governor, O.P. Verma, has given his assent to the Assembly Bill terminating agreements relating to the sharing of the waters of the Ravi and Beas with Haryana and Rajasthan. This information was given ``informally'' in the Rajya Sabha by the Water Resources Minister, Priyaranjan Dasmunshi, here today. Mr. Dasmunshi's revelation led to a furore during question hour in the Rajya Sabha which was adjourned till 12 noon amid protests by the BJP and other Opposition parties over the controversial Bill.
