COIMBATORE, JULY 13. The suspension of supply of drinking water under the Pilloor scheme, originally scheduled for July 14 and 15, has been postponed to July 16 and 17. The Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage (TWAD) Board said in a release today that the installation of pump and maintenance works planned on the earlier dates had been deferred owing to unavoidable reasons. Hence, water supply would not be made on July 16 and 17. Supply would resume on the night of July 17, the release said.
