Reservation issue

Sir, — There can be no two opinions on reservation in the public and private sectors.

The top jobs in most foreign banks established in India, mutual funds, private insurance firms and other private companies are invariably cornered by the "upper castes."

Any post offered to the backward community people is inevitably insignificant.

Hence, there is a strong case for reservation in these sectors.
