ADILABAD, JULY 14. Gangaiah, 45, a farmer from Mallapur village in Laxmanchanda mandal died on Tuesday evening at Nirmal hospital while undergoing treatment after he consumed poison. According to police, Gangaiah ran into debts after his crops failed for the past two years. He consumed poison on July 10 with the alleged intention of committing suicide. He was shifted to the Nirmal Community hospital immediately. However, he died on Tuesday evening. M. Krishnamurthy, 45, a farmer from Ponnari village in Tamsi mandal committed suicide on Tuesday. KURNOOL: A farmer, identified as B. Raju, committed suicide at Errapadu village in Kurnool district on Wednesday. Mounting debts is said to be the cause of the suicide. ONGOLE: A farmer, Kakani Veera Raghavulu (42) of Timmayapalem in Addanki mandal reportedly hanged himself at his residence, early on Wednesday.
