HDFC Bank PAT up

CHENNAI: HDFC Bank has earned a total income of Rs. 810.60 crores for the quarter ended June 30, 2004 against Rs. 709.30 crores. Net revenue was Rs. 506.80 crores against Rs. 409.90 crores, an increase of 23.7 per cent. Interest earned has increased to Rs. 702.60 crores from Rs. 577.10 crores. Net interest income has increased by 43.6 per cent to Rs. 398.80 crores. The profit before tax was up by 31.2 per cent to Rs. 207 crores and the profit after tax by 30.5 per cent to Rs. 140 crores.
