Exide, Russian Navy tie up

KOLKATA, JULY 14. Exide Industries is set to enter into an MoU with the Russian Navy for installation of submarine batteries. The company has also earmarked Rs. 60 crores for capacity expansion in the industrial and automotive battery segments.

Talking to newspersons here today the Exide Chairman, S. B. Ganguly, said the company was eying Russia to market submarine batteries.
