HYDERABAD: CBay Systems has been selected by Continuum Health Partners of the U.S. to provide medical transcription and information management services. According to a release issued here on Wednesday, the services will help deliver cost advantages to six hospitals and two dozen speciality practices in the greater New York City. It said physicians would dictate through the telephone, digital voice recorder or PDA and transcripts would be delivered seamlessly into the hospital's health information management system. CBay Systems, Ltd. (headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland) is the fourth largest provider of transcription services to the healthcare industry in the U.S. and the largest medical transcription services company in India. CBay has offshore production facilities in India at over 35-production centres or franchisees, employing more than 3,500 people, and serving over 300 clients, it said. Our Special Correspondent
