TIRUPATI, JULY 14. An undertrial who made good his escape from the court premises by hoodwinking cops was caught within 24 hours. A. Chinna (23), who was on remand in a motor vehicle case, was brought to Tirupati from Srikalahasti as the case came up before the Magistrate on Tuesday. While waiting on the court premises, Chinna allegedly took to his heels when the accompanying policemen were having their lunch. However, he was caught on Wednesday near Appalayagunta, 20 km from here, under the Vadamalapeta police station limits.
