Cuddapah
By Our Staff Reporter
CUDDAPAH, JULY 14. The assertion by the former MP and TDP leader, Yelamanchili Sivaji, that Rayalseema region had no right on Krishna waters came in for attack by the Cuddapah District Rythu Sangham general secretary, D. Chandramouleeswara Reddy, on Wednesday. While the TDP leaders gave an ultimatum to the Government demanding scrapping of G.O. 69 that reduced the MDDL of Srisailam reservoir to 836 ft., or else they would launch a stir after July 17, it was ridiculous for a senior politician of the TDP, Mr. Sivaji, to claim that Rayalaseema neither had a right on Krishna waters nor on assured water in Srisailam reservoir, asserted Mr. Reddy on telephone from Hyderabad.
