Faction feud: 4 hacked to death in bus

CUDDAPAH, JULY 14. Factional rivalry in Kondapuram mandal of Cuddapah district led to the killing of four persons in a bus on the outskirts of Proddatur town this afternoon.

The four persons belonging to Lingamanenipalle village in Jammalamadugu constituency — Putluru Jayarami Reddy, Putluru Narayana Reddy, Sana Venkata Sesha Reddy and Sana Veeranarayana Reddy — were murdered in the bus and their bodies lay in the pathway between seats. Two others of Lingamanenipalle — Putluru Sivanarayana Reddy and Putluru Venkata Narayana Reddy — were wounded and rushed to Proddatur Government Hospital, where their condition was stable, according to the police.
