Good knock by Saravanan

MADURAI, JULY 14. A dazzling 76 by Saravanan helped Eleven Bullets Cricket Club carve out a 56-run victory over Blooming Eleven Cricket Club in the Indian Bank - Madurai District Cricket Association first division `B' zone league here recently.

The scores: First division `B' Zone): Eleven Bullets CC 234 for seven in 47 overs (Saravanan 76, Anwar 26, Mari 27) bt Blooming Eleven CC 178 for eight in 47 overs (Bala 66, Muthukumar 43, Sudhakar three for 32).

Spark CC 172 in 44.2 overs (Jai Ganesh 35, Saravanan 41, Raja 38, Praveen three for 25) bt KKRC 63 in 18.3 overs (Velmurugan three for 22).

Third division: Blue Blast CC 138 for eight in 24 overs (Ameer 50 not out, Krishnan three for 26) lost to Jolly Rovers CC 139 for three in 18.1 overs (Arun 41 not out, Balaji 44 not out).
