Dindigul in quarterfinals

DINDIGUL, JULY 14. Dindigul drew with Erode in the two-day match in the second stage of the TNCA Hercules MTB Turbo Drive inter-district under-19 cricket tournament at Erode on Tuesday. However, Dindigul entered the quarterfinals on first innings lead.

The scores: Dindigul 236 in 69.1 overs (J. Jayanth 46, R. Karthik 37, D. Anandamurthy 41, P. Dayanidhi 57, P. Udayakumar three for 40, J. Kiran Prasad four for 33) and 176 for three in 45 overs (M. Sheik Abdullah 76 not out, P. Dayanidhi 76 not out) drew with Erode 101 in 48.2 overs (P. Promodkumar Varma 28, B. Gopi four for 45).
