CHENNAI, JULY 14. The 13-year-old Bala `sanyasi' from Salem, whose spontaneous and mature style of speech has been attracting State-wide attention, today said he was not being exploited or used by anyone. Talking to reporters in Chennai where he had come to participate in an exhibition and a function at the Tiruvalleeswararar temple, Padi, a western suburb, he said people around him were not making money out of him. "I will not allow anyone to use me for personal gains," he said. The Bala ` sanyasi' has proclaimed himself as `Sri Hari Bharanithara Raghavendra Swamigal.' He said he had decided to renounce the world out of his own will and not at anyone else's instigation. His goal was to lead children into spirituality. The Bala `sanyasi' was caught in a controversy last month when he was taken away forcibly from a hermitage allegedly on instructions from his parents. His parents wanted him to stay with them. But he refused to go with his parents and informed the police that he wanted to lead a life of renunciation.
