Girl dies in accident

MANGALORE, JULY 14. A student of the Government Pre-University College, Haleyangady, died when a private bus reportedly hit her at Khandige in the Suratkal police limits on Monday, according to the police. They gave the name of the deceased as Manasa (16). She was waiting for a bus when the bus knocked her down. Though she was rushed to a hospital, she died of severe injuries, they added.
