HYDERABAD, JULY 14. No untoward incident was reported from any of the 32 polling stations during the by-election to the Jangammet division of the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) held here on Wednesday. The polling percentage was 36.14. Till afternoon the response from the 29,000-odd voters was poor. The result would be declared on July 17. The bypoll was necessitated due to death of B. Laxman of the Telugu Desam Party, earlier this year. The TDP had nominated his wife, B. Shanti, for the seat.
