NEW DELHI, JULY 14. Two persons have been arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police for allegedly killing a man, whose body was found at Kalyanpuri in East Delhi on January 11. According to the police, a decomposed body, later identified as that of Ashiq Ali, a resident of Bijnore in Uttar Pradesh, was found in a forest in Kalyanpuri on January 11. The post-mortem revealed that Ashiq's throat had been slit. On Tuesday, the Crime Branch received a tip-off about two suspects who were likely to visit the Millennium Park in Nizamuddin. A team laid a trap there and arrested the accused around 8 p.m. A knife was recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Mohammad Mehtab and Sumesh Kumar.
