BANGALORE, JULY 14. Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (KPTCL) officials accompanied went along with the Energy Minister, H.D. Revanna, on Wednesday when he went to condole the death of Anish, the seven year-old electrocuted in Indirangar. V. Madhu, Managing Director, S. Shivamallu, Director (Transmission), and N. Vijayanarasimha, Chief Engineer of the KPTCL were present. However, only V.M. Chandre Gowda, Director, was present from Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM), under whose jurisdiction the tragedy occurred. The BESCOM Managing Director, Bharatlal Meena, was absent. When The Hindu asked KPTCL officials about this, they said: "He has gone to Sri Lanka."
