KOCHI, JULY 14. The Kerala Government Medical Officers' Association (KGMOA) has refuted the allegations raised against the doctors of the General Hospital. Addressing a press conference here today, the association State secretary, Junaid Rahman, said the statement made by the Government Nurses Association was derogatory. The association would be forced to take legal action against such statements, he said. It was for the doctors to decide on the treatment and the opinion of the nurses in this regard was totally unwarranted. The preliminary inquiry into the death of an infant on July 2 had found fault with the nursing care and allegations were raised against the doctors to cover it up, according to him. Answering a question, he welcomed an inquiry by an outside agency.
