Sandalwood tree stolen

COIMBATORE, JULY 14. A sandalwood tree on the Corporation South Zone office premises on Huzur Road in the city was stolen on Tuesday night.

The incident took place in the heart of the city, which is very close to the Race Course Police Station and Police Control Room.

Students injured

Three students of Government Arts College, hailing from Kinathukkadavu, sustained head injuries in a clash this morning. They were admitted to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital.

It is learnt that a group of second and third year students clashed with another group near the Railway Station over ragging first-year students.
