Godhra probe

Sir, — The fresh departmental inquiry ordered into the Godhra train burning incident of February 27, 2002 by the Railway Minister, Lalu Prasad, is welcome. The entire nation will be pleased if truth emerges as the final winner.

Sir, — A committee formed during the National Democratic Alliance Government to look into the controversial incident is yet to submit its report. The new inquiry will only add fuel to the fire.
