Jewellery exhibition

TIRUCHI, JULY 15. The 10-day `jewellery exhibition', sponsored by the Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation (Poompuhar), was inaugurated at the Poompuhar's show room here today.

Jewellery studded with precious and semi-precious stones, American diamond jewellery, stones from Rajasthan, panchaloha bangles, stone-studded necklaces and earrings, `spatikamala' and temple jewellery formed part of the exhibits, according to R. Kalaimani, Regional Manager, Poompuhar.
