WARANGAL, JULY 15. A mechanic at the RTC depot, Ravinder, who is a resident of Snehanagar, committed suicide in the wee hours of Thursday here. His family members and colleagues said that Ravinder took the extreme step unable to bear the alleged harassment of his superiors. The staff and workers of the depot staged a dharna for more than five hours with the dead body. The depot manager held talks till late in the night. According to the police, Ravinder, who was working in maintenance section, was transferred to the general section. However, he complained to officials of his inability to work in the new section. But his superiors refused to concede his demand. Ravinder reportedly tried to meet higher officials along with his family members, but in vain. Frustrated, Ravinder hanged himself at his residence.
