YSR to visit Karimnagar on July 18

KARIMNAGAR, JULY 15. The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, will tour Karimnagar district on July 18.

Mr. Rajasekhara Reddy will arrive at Godavarikhani at 8.15 a.m. and participate in the inauguration of a new market complex and municipal office. He will go to Jagtial at 11 a.m. to laying the foundation stone for a 33\11 KV sub station. He will also distribute fruit-bearing plants, inaugurate the Second Additional Sessions court, distribute ex gratia to kin of farmers who had committed suicide and also interact with public.

From Jagtial he will proceed to Lingampet village to participate in the `palle bata' programme. At Anthargaon, he will interact with shepherds and dairy farmers. Later, he will go to Rampur village and interact with Rythu Mitra groups and distribute matching grant. He will interact with public at Kodimial, Poodur, Islampur, Vedira and Kothapalli on his way to Karimnagar town.

At Kothapalli village, he will interact with weavers and distribute sewing machines and also inaugurate the AP Seeds Corporation complex. In Karimnagar town, he will participate in a review meeting with the Collector, district officers, legislators and MPs at the Collectorate. He will unveil the statue of former MP, J. Chokka Rao, in the town and also participate in the Zilla Parishad general body meeting. He will leave for Hyderabad on July 19.

The district administration is making arrangements for Mr. Reddy's visit. At a review meeting on Thursday, the Collector, C. Parthasaradhi, appointed district officers for each village where the Chief Minister would participate in the `palle bata' programme.
