House burgled
Thieves broke into the house of K.S. Prakash at Air Force colony in Begumpet and took away Rs. 1,23,091 in cash on Wednesday night. Managing partner of Sampoora Asia Corporate Services, Prakash, lodged a complaint with the Begumpet police around 11 a.m. on Thursday stating that robbers took away the cash last night.
Succumbs to
injuries
A milk vendor, Mallesh (55), who was allegedly hit by an A.P.S.R.T.C. bus at Fever Hospital while he was riding a scooter on July 14, succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital early on Thursday. The victim was a resident of Achchayyanagar, the Nallakunta police said.
Man robbed
Two motorcycle-borne youngsters snatched the bracelet of a scooterist, Prem Chand (43), when he stopped before a traffic signal post at SBH main office at Gunfoundry last night. The miscreants came from behind, pulled his bracelet and sped away on their bike. The victim was a resident of Sultanbazar, the Abids police said.
