BANGALORE, JULY 15. Thieves broke into a business establishment in the Chandra Layout Police Station limits on Wednesday and made away with three computers, the police said. They also drove away with a van that was parked outside, the police said. The police said the theft took place at the office of Kushal, a dealer in NCERT books, at Vinayaka Layout. The van, that was stolen, also belonged to Kushal who resides close to his office. The Chandra Layout Police have registered a case.
Dies
Subashchandra Oja, a sergeant in the Indian Air Force, died on the spot when a lorry knocked down his scooter near Hunasemaranahalli bus stop in the Yelahanka Police Station limits at 8.10 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hebbal Traffic Police have seized the lorry. A search is on for the driver.
