JD(U) meet to discuss poll strategy

NEW DELHI, JULY 16. The Janata Dal (United) today announced a 67-member National Executive ahead of its meeting here on July 31 when it will discuss its strategy for the coming Assembly elections in Bihar and Jharkhand.

Besides, there are 13 special invitees, a JD (U) press release signed by the party president, George Fernandes, said today. The national executive members include senior party leaders S.R. Bommai, former Union Ministers Nitish Kumar and Digvijay Singh, and former party chief, V.V. Krishna Rao.
