TDP walkout in Rajya Sabha

NEW DELHI, JULY 16. Telugu Desam Party members on Friday walked out of the Rajya Sabha in protest against political murders in Andhra Pradesh. Taking note of the observations made by TDP members -- R. Chandra Sekar Reddy and C. Ramachandraiah -- during zero hour, the Rajya Sabha Chairman, Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, said he would speak to the Union Home Minister, Shivraj Patil. Mr. Ramachandraiah alleged that the Congress Government in the State was engineering violence to `decimate' TDP.
