According to a spokesman of MDU, there will be one round of counselling for All-India Category and two rounds of counselling for the State quota. Counselling for admission against the State quota and management quota seats (surrendered by institutions to the State agency) for both general and reserved categories would be conducted simultaneously.
Candidates belonging to both general and reserved categories would be called for counselling in order of rank or merit obtained in general category. A candidate belonging to the reserved category would be considered first in the general category. In case, he or she did not get a seat of his or her choice in general category, then he or she would be considered against reserved category at the same time, he added.
A candidate, who would take admission during the first round of counselling, could withdraw his or her candidature by submitting an application along with proof of admission up to August 3 to the Chairman, Pharmacy Counselling Board, MDU, Rohtak with a written intimation to the concerned department or institute or college. Any application received late would be rejected summarily.
