MAHS in final

HYDERABAD, JULY 17. Moulana Azad High School and Dr. Zaheer Memorial High School moved into the final of the inter-school hockey tournament for the V. Purushotham Memorial Trophy here on Saturday.

In the semifinals, Moulana School defeated Wesley High School 2-1. Subhan Bin Osman scored in the seventh followed by Khaled Bin Ahmed's score eight minutes later. G. Anjan reduced the margin for Wesley in the 31st minute.

Dr. Zaheer School outplayed Parsi High School 4-0 after leading 1-0 at the break. Winger Mujeeb netted a brace in the eighth and 47th minutes while, striker Md. Waheed Pasha was on target in the 36th and P.S. Sajid in the 44th minutes to complete the tally.
