Tripti shines

NEW DELHI, JULY 17. Riding on Tripti Khot's 65, Maharashtra scored 17-run win against Chhattisgarh in a league match in the National sub-junior women's cricket championship here.

The scores:

Maharashtra 127 for three in 25 overs (Tripti Khot 65, Kavita 30) bt Chhattisgarh 110 for five in 25 overs (Sadhna Sahani 30, Nehal Varu 46 not out, Uma Shinde three for 13)

Jharkhand 139 for six in 25 overs (Namit Singh 42, Reena Singh 39, Ankita Ghosh three for 29) bt Orissa 71 in 20.2 overs (Chinmaya 25, Amrita Kumari three for 10)

Vidarbha 63 in 24.2 overs (Poonam 36, Supriya three for nine, Atmaja three for 13, Geeta Devi three for four) lost to Karnataka 66 for one in 13.3 overs (Sidhu Ashok 34, Vanita 25 not out).
