TIRUCHI, JULY 17. Chennai, Pudukottai and Coimbatore in the boys section and Chennai, Erode and Salem in the girls section entered the last four in the Tamil Nadu State mini basketball tournament here on Saturday.

The results:

Men: Phoenix, Madurai bt Youngsters BC, Battalagundu 53-30, A. R. Police bt St. Peter's (Junior), Thanjavur 77-58, St. Peter's (seniors), Thanjavur bt Breeze, Dindigul 56-41, South Zone Police, Madurai bt Ramakrishna Mills, Coimbatore 65-32, Sethu BC, Madurai bt SAI Hostel, Salem 65-40.

Mini boys (league): Coimbatore bt Ramanathapuram 41-5, Chennai bt Cuddalore 34-29, Pudukottai bt Tirunelveli 32-18, Virudunagar bt Karur 34-14, Dindigul bt Madurai 31-12.

Mini girls (league): Madurai bt Villupuram 20-4, Erode bt Virudunagar 24-5, Chennai bt Karur 35-3.

Boys: Mini Quarterfinals (knock-out): Pudukottai bt Dindigul 32-18, Chennai bt Tiruvannamalai 29-25, Coimbatore bt Sivagangai 40-15.

Girls: Chennai bt Coimbatore 29-11, Erode bt Madurai 16-7.
