By Our Staff Reporter

NIZAMABAD, JULY 17. A 55-year-old man allegedly hacked to death his 25-year-old ailing daughter unable to provide her two square meals a day in Arepalli village under Machareddy police station limits on Saturday.

Reports said that Rajampet Yellaiah, a farmer, found it difficult to take care of his daughter, Pochavva. The victim was reportedly ailing and the poor farmer was not able to provide her relief. Unable to feed his daughter, Yellaiah decided to eliminate Pochavva.

On Saturday, Yellaiah allegedly picked up an axe and hacked his daughter to death. He allegedly hit the victim on the neck resulting in bleeding injuries. The victim raised an alarm and collapsed in a pool of blood and died on the spot. He then went to house of the village sarpanch and narrated the incident.

The villagers alerted the police who visited the village and shifted the body to the Kamareddy area hospital for postmortem. Yellaiah is at large.
