KUMBAKONAM, JULY 17. The toll in Friday's fire accident at a school in Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu has gone up to 90. Of the 11 children undergoing treatment for burn injuries, seven are said to be out of danger. One child has been shifted to the Thanjavur Medical College Hospital and two to the Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. The distribution of ex-gratia relief to the families of the dead has begun.
