BELGAUM, JULY 18. The Additional Director General of Police, B.S. Sial, has commended the progress achieved by Visvesvaraya Technological University in a short time. During his visit to the university's campus, Mr. Sial interacted with the Vice-Chancellor of the university, K. Balaveera Reddy; the Registrar, M.S. Shivakumar; the Registrar (Evaluation), V. Sridhar; and Uday Hamppannavar here on Friday. Mr. Sial said he was impressed by the pro-active reforms introduced by the authorities to ensure transparency in the examination system and the administration. The university's flexibility to adopt to changes in various fields was also commendable, he said.
