Sirisha's husband in police custody

GUNTUR, JULY 18. The Guntur district police after taking into custody Sasikant, husband of Sirisha, the victim in the dowry harassment case, are interrogating him and will produce him in court soon. The police have gathered all information from Hyderabad on the amount given as dowry to Sirisha in the form of bank deposit in her name.

Meanwhile, the support for Sirisha from people is increasing by the day. With improvement in her health condition, representatives from several women's organizations, Lok Satta, her friends and relatives from her native town are calling on her at the Government General Hospital here to provide her moral support.
