Haryana
By Our Special Correspondent
Addressing a Press conference here this evening, the President of the Haryana unit of the BJP, Ganeshi Lal, said that the MLAs were resigning from the Assembly to register their protest against the "anti-national act'' of the Punjab Government and the "indifferent attitude'' of the United Progressive Alliance Government at the Centre towards Haryana's interests.
He reiterated that the BJP would go ahead with its `Bandh' call for tomorrow in the State. He clarified that essential services including transport would be kept out of the purview of the Bandh.
However, business establishments and educational institutions would be closed, he added.
He also announced that BJP would contest all the 90 Assembly seats in Haryana on its own in the ensuing polls.
