CHANDIGARH, JULY 18 . In a dramatic turn of events, all the six Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs of Haryana submitted their resignations to the Vidhan Sabha Speaker here this evening to register their protest against the enactment of the Punjab Termination of Agreements Act by the Amarinder Singh Government in Punjab. Addressing a press conference here today, the Haryana BJP president, Ganeshi Lal, said the MLAs were resigning to register their protest against the "anti-national act" of the Punjab Government and the "indifferent attitude" of the Centre towards Haryana's interests. He said the BJP would go ahead with its "bandh" tomorrow in Haryana. Essential services, including transport, would be kept out of the purview of the bandh. He said the BJP would contest all the 90 Assembly seats in Haryana on its own in the coming polls.
