Janashakti leaders meet Jana Reddy
By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD,
JULY 18
. Two leaders of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Janashakti group, Challapalli Srinivasa Rao and K. Chandranna, and the mediators, Keshav Rao Jadav and A. B. K. Prasad, met the Home Minister, K. Jana Reddy, here on Sunday and submitted a letter accepting the Government's invitation to participate in the proposed discussions with left-wing organisations like the People's War.
The letter described continuing "illegal arrests" and the "police excesses" as stumbling blocks and wanted an end to them. Seeking the names of Government representatives expected to participate in the talks, the leaders said they would stay in touch with the Government till the ceasefire and the agenda for the talks were announced.
