PUDUKOTTAI, JULY 18. Students and members from various walks of life took out processions at different places in the district on Saturday to pay their homage to the victims of the Kumbakonam fire mishap. At Alangudi, traders, members of political parties and Rotary Club members jointly took out a procession from Gandhi statue to the bus stand. At Aranthangi, around 200 members of the public took out a procession from the check post to the bus stand. At Ponnaamarvathy, a group of persons including 25 students took out a procession from radio pottal to the Siva temple while a group of auto drivers and members of Rotary Club participated in a procession from bus stand to Gandhi statue at Gandarvakottai.
