Mathew, Anju win titles
IRINJALAKUDA,
JULY 18.
Mathew N. Mathew (Kozhikode) and Anju K.Thomas (Thiruvananthapuram) won the junior boys and girls singles titles respectively in the Don Bosco all-Kerala Open prize money table tennis tournament here on Sunday.
Mathew overcame Tariq (Tvm) 11-8, 9-11, 11-7, 11-5 to win the title in boys section wile Anju K.Thomas outclassed team-mate Anjana Gopal 11-9, 9-11, 11-9, 11-9 to win the girls title.
Angelo Porathur (Tsr) and Lakshmy Prabha (Kzde) won the titles in sub-junior boys and girls section respectively.

Veteran: Joseph Chacko (Don Bosco) bt M.T. Thomas (SBT) 11-7, 8-11, 11-9.
Boys: Juniors: Mathew N. Mathew (Kzde) bt Tariq (Tvm) 11-8, 8-11, 11-7, 11-5. Sub-juniors: Angelo Porathur (Tsr) bt vishnu Narayanan (Alp) 11-3, 11-4, 11-5.
Girls: Juniors: Anju K.Thomas (Tvm) bt Anajana Gopal (Tvm) 11-9, 9-11, 11-9, 11-9. Sub-juniors: Lakshmy Prabha (Kzde) bt Chris Winne James (Idk) 11-6, 4-11, 11-6, 7-11, 11-6
