Sharmila triumphs

BANGALORE, JULY 18. Sharmila, with 70 gross, won the title in the category `A' (13 to 17 years) of the Karnataka Golf Association's junior championship played at the KGA course here on Saturday.

In the 16-hole Open event (par 64), Sharmila was followed by Aashray Goel (72) and C.G. Somaiah (73). In Category `B' (under-12), Prannoy Jacob emerged the winner with 102 gross while Shiladitya Mukherjee (103) finished as the runner-up.
