KARIMNAGAR, JULY 18. The Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice, Devender Gupta, has called upon lawyers to adopt some villages and strive for reduction of cases in the courts by amicably settling litigations in the villages itself. He urged the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, to find a solution to help litigants, who were waiting for justice for years due to pendency of cases. He said the judicial officers were doing their best by organising Lok Adalats and legal literacy camps. The Chief Minister assured release of Rs. 2 crores for the construction of new court buildings in Jagtial town. The High Court Judges - B. Sudarshan Reddy, T. Meena Kumari, and Dharma Rao Elipe -- the Minister for Endowments, M. Satyanarayana Rao, the Jagtial MLA, T. Jeevan Reddy, the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh Chairman, M. Rajender Reddy, the District Judge, M.V.S. Krishnaji Rao, and others were present.
