No power

COIMBATORE, JULY 18. There will be no power supply in the following areas between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on July 21 owing to maintenance work at Velampalayam substation: Athupalayam, Annupparpalayam, Anupparpalayam Pudur, Ammapalayam, 15, Velampalayam, Periyar Colony, Venkamedu, T.P.Colony, A.V.P.Layout, A.G.Palayam, Mahavishnu Nagar and Thilagar Nagar.

Grievances day

The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board will conduct a grievances day meeting for the consumers on July 21 at the office of the Executive Engineer, Tirupur at 11 a.m.

Training

Sri Avinashilingam Education Trust Institutions-Training Centre will offer training courses from July 19 for members of self-help groups, students, small-scale entrepreneurs and housewives.

Courses would be held in glass painting, cloth embossing, pot-painting, nib-painting, cushion-making, soft toy making, paper carrybag making, preparation of nutritious fast foods and flower arrangement.
