`Eunuch' found murdered

A person, suposed to be a eunuch, was found murdered near Tivoli Gardens in Begumpet police station area on Sunday. The victim was clad in cream coloured trouser and green shirt.

Woman raped, killed?

A labourer, T. Gowramma (50), was found killed near a toddy compound at Habsiguda on Sunday. The police suspect that culprits sexually assaulted the woman before beating her to death.

Man held on fraud charge

A person charged with cheating private companies by fraudulently withdrawing money with fictitious accounts was arrested by the Narayanguda police. The suspect allegedly opened four accounts in IDBI branches at Basheerbagh and Banjara Hills in the name of different companies and withdrew Rs. 4.50 lakhs.

Chain stolen

A housewife, Janaki, was robbed of a 3.5 tola gold chain by two motorcycle-borne assailants at her Habsiguda house on Saturday night. The victim was speaking to her neighbours when the culprits came from behind and snatched her chain, the Osmania University police said.
