Dhana Laxmi stars for AP

NEW DELHI, JULY 19. A five-wicket bag by Dhana Laxmi helped Andhra Pradesh to a 111-run victory over Chattisgarh in the National sub-junior women's cricket championship here on Monday. The victory helped the Andhra team reach the quarterfinals.

The scores:

Andhra Pradesh 133 for six in 25 overs (M. Saujanya Nath 53, Neha Varun three for 24, Anuradha Singh three for 24) bt Chattisgarh 22 in 13.3 overs (Dhana Laxmi five for 10, Gauhar Sultana three for four).

Jharkhand 69 in 91.5 overs (Ravneet Singh four for nine, Bisham Singh three for 21) bt Punjab 39 in 10.4 overs (Shatabdi Chakravarti three for seven, Reena Singh three for eight).

Jammu and Kashmir 53 for seven in 25 overs (Jaya Latwal four for four) lost to Uttaranchal 55 for three in 13.1 overs.
