ROME, JULY 19. The ailing Italian Reforms Minister, Umberto Bossi, resigned from the Premier, Silvio Berlusconi's Government today, the latest shake-up in the squabbling conservative government, Italian news reports said. News agencies cited unidentified sources in their reports that Mr. Bossi, a volatile politician who brought down Mr. Berlusconi's first government in 1994, had quit both his Ministry post and his seat in the Chamber of Deputies. A spokeswoman for Mr. Bossi's Northern League party, said the report was ``99 per centcredible'' but added that party leaders were meeting to discuss the situation. AP
